INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Punjab). Taxila (local coinage). 1 1/2 Karshapana (Bronze, 17x17 mm, 10.00 g, 12 h), Taxila city state (Pushkalavati), circa 185-165 BC. Elephant advancing to right; before, lotus plant. Rev. Horse advancing to left; above, star. HGC 12, 774. An unusually complete example. Minor cleaning scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
