KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Ptolemy I Soter, as satrap, 308-305 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.88 g, 9 h). Gazelle to right; before, gerbil. Rev. Silphium plant with three pair of leaves and fruits. Asolati 30A. BMC 279-281. A very rare and unusual type. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, fine.
