PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Xerxes II to Artaxerxes II, circa 420-375 BC. Siglos (Silver, 14 mm, 5.44 g), Lydo-Milesian standard, Sardes or subsidiary mint. Persian king or hero in kneeling/running stance to right, holding dagger in his right hand and bow in his left. Rev. Rectangular incuse punch. BMC Arabia pl. XXVII, 19. Carradice Type IV C (pl. XV, 46). Sunrise 34. Very fine.
