PONTOS. Chabacta. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 100-85 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 9.26 g, 1 h). Head of Ares to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. XABA-K[TΩΝ] Sword in sheath; to upper left, star-in-crescent; to lower left, monogram. HGC 7, 263. SNG BM Black Sea 1250. SNG Stancomb 712. Rare. Good very fine.
