ARKADIA, Arkadian League. Circa 470-465 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 3.00 g, 5 h), Kleitor mint. Zeus Lykaios seated right, holding eagle alighting to right in his left hand and long scepter in his right. Rev. A -R Head of Kallisto to left, wearing tainia and necklace and with her hair tied in queue; all within incuse square. Williams 35 (O26/R23). Very rare, Williams knew a single example. Beautifully toned and of lovely style. Very fine.
