EUBOIA. Histiaia. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.24 g, 7 h). Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, wearing wreath of grape leaves and berries. Rev. [IΣTI]-AIEΩN Nymph seated right on stern of galley, holding stylis in her left hand and resting her right on the deck; on the side of the stern, wing; below, trident right. BCD Euboia 412. SNG Copenhagen -. Beautifully toned. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, good very fine.
