KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/5 Tetradrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.51 g, 11 h), Amphipolis, struck under Antipater, Polyperchon, or Kassander, circa 323/2-316/5. Diademed head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOΥ Youth on horseback to right; below, crescent. Le Rider pl. 46, 24. Beautifully toned. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.

From a Swiss collection, formed in Ticino from the 1970s to 2000s.
