CELTIC, Central Gaul. Bituriges Cubi. Late 2nd to early 1st century BC. Stater (Gold, 20 mm, 7.18 g, 4 h). Celticized male head to left with thick and prominent curls. Rev. Celticized biga to left, driven by Victory with spread wings; below, ornaments. DT 3396. LT 4587. Very rare. Areas of weakness, otherwise, good fine.
