CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Ambiani. Circa 60-30 BC. Stater (Gold, 15 mm, 5.77 g), 'statére uniface' type. Blank convex surface. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into fibula-like figure; before, above and behind, eye-shaped ornaments; below horse, crescent above pellet between S - S. DT 242. LT 8704. Edge crack, otherwise, very fine.
