★ Very rare and nicely toned ★

John V Palaeologus, with John VI, 1347-1353. Basilikon (Silver, 18 mm, 0.81 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. [IC] - XC Christ, nimbate, standing facing within mandorla, raising his right hand in benediction and placing his left hand on his chest; [to upper left; star]; to upper right, B. Rev. Κ[ΝΚΤ] - Ι-ω - ΠΛΟΛ John VI, on the left, standing facing, wearing loros, holding labarum in his right hand and anexikakia in his left, and John V, on the right, standing facing, wearing loros, holding labarum in his left hand and anexikakia in his right.
