Theodosius I, 379-395. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.14 g, 7 h), Aquileia, August-September 388. D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius I to right. Rev. VICTOR-IA AVGG / A-Q / COM Two emperors, crowned, seated facing on double-throne, holding a globe together; behind, Victory standing facing with wings spread; below, small palm branch. Depeyrot 21/2. RIC 40b. Rare. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, good extremely fine.
