Valentinian I, 364-375. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.50 g, 7 h), Treveri, mid 373-April 375. D N VALENTINI-ANVS P F AVG Laurel-and-rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian I to right. Rev. VICTOR-IA AVGG / TROBC Two emperors, crowned, seated facing on double-throne, holding a globe together; behind, Victory standing facing with wings spread; below, small palm branch. Depeyrot 43/1. RIC 17b.3. Lustrous and attractive. Very faint scratch on the cheek, otherwise, virtually as struck.
