Constantius II, 337-361. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.49 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 355-360. D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed head of Constantius II to right. Rev. GLORIA REI PVBLICAE / ANTZ Roma, helmeted, seated facing on the left, and Constantinopolis, turreted, seated to left with her right foot on prow on the right, holding between them a wreath inscribed VOT / XXXX. Depeyrot 12/1. RIC 173. A lovely piece with a fine portrait. Nearly extremely fine.
