Divus Galerius, died 311. Follis (Bronze, 24 mm, 6.14 g, 11 h), Antiochia, 311. DIVO MAXIMIANO MAXIMINVS AVG FIL Laureate head of Divus Galerius to right. Rev. AETERNAE MEMORIAE GALERI MAXIMIANI / S / ANT Large altar with flames and two horns on top, decorated with eagle standing left on wreath, head turned to right and holding wreath in beak. Rauch 90 (2012), 908. RIC -. Of the highest rarity, perhaps the second known example. A beautiful coin with excellent reverse details. Light porosity, otherwise, extremely fine.
