★ Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue ★

Civil Wars, 68-69. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.46 g, 1 h), uncertain mint in southern Gaul or Spain. Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTV[S] Capricorn to right, holding globe attached to rudder between front hooves and bearing cornucopiae on its back. BMC 45. Cohen (Augustus) 21. Martin A2. RIC 2. Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Lightly toned, boldly struck and with a particularly attractive portrait. Slightly porous, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
