SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Septimius Severus, 193-211. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.38 g, 12 h), 202-211. AYT KAI CЄOYPOC CЄB Laureate head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. ΔHMAPX•ЄΞ•YΠATO•Γ Eagle with spread wings standing facing on leg and thigh of a sacrificial animal, head to right and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 659b. Prieur 200. Lustrous and attractive. Minor die rust, otherwise, virtually as struck.
