TAURIC CHERSONESOS. Chersonesos. Circa 110-90 BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 20 mm, 3.85 g, 12 h), Moirios, magistrate. Turreted head of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver over her left shoulder. Rev. XEP - MOIPIOΣ Stag standing right. Anokhin 807. Anokhin, Khersonesa, 179. HGC 3, 2066. SNG BM Black Sea 819. SNG Stancomb 495. Rare. Nicely toned, boldly struck and sharp. The usual traces of overstriking, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
