★ Well centered and unusually complete ★

CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 11.94 g, 7 h), 'Kreuzelreiter' type. Imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horseman to right; above, cross with central pellet. Dembski 1067. Flesche -. Lanz 408. OTA 108/2. A very well centered and unusually complete example. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
