ATTICA. Athens. Circa 440s-430s BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.00 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to right, wrearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. Svoronos pl. 12 passim. Darkly toned and very well centered with a full crest. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
