Description
SICILY. Kamarina. Circa 420-405 BC. Tetras or Trionkion (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.57 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. KAMA Owl standing left, head facing, grasping lizard; in exergue, three pellets (mark of value). CNS III, 28. SNG ANS 1230. Westermark & Jenkins 198. Very well centered and with a lovely olive green patina. Extremely fine.
