ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Mahdi, AH 158-169 / AD 775-785. Dirham (Silver, 25 mm, 2.89 g, 12 h), citing the caliph al-Mahdi, al-Muhammadiya, AH 166 = AD 782/3. SICA III, 1355. Nicely toned. Light doubling, otherwise, extremely fine.
