Maximinus II, as Caesar, 305-309. Follis (Bronze, 25 mm, 6.47 g, 12 h), Antiochia, circa 309. MAXIMINVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus II to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and shield, decorated with two horsemen riding to left and four captives below them, on his left shoulder. Rev. MAXIMINVS NOBILISSIMVS CAESAR / Z / ANT Maximinus II standing front, head to left, holding globe in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, lighted altar. CNG E-Auction 452 (2019), 767. RIC -, cf. 120 (different bust type). Very rare and with a very impressive bust type. Patina stripped and with some smoothing on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
