HUNNIC TRIBES, Western Turks. Sri Sahi, circa 650-700. Drachm (Bronze, 29 mm, 3.33 g, 3 h), inscription in Bactrian, uncertain mint, possibly in Zabulistan. Draped bust to right, wearing a crown surmounted by blossom and necklace with two ribbons attached; in upper field to left, small Alchon tamgha; to right, σριο βαyo ('His Perfection, King' in Bactrian). Rev. Stylized Sasanian style altar flanked by two attendants; above, wheel. Göbl 236. Vondrovec, Type 236. Light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
