KINGS OF COMMAGENE. Iotape, 38-72. Octachalkon (Bronze, 29 mm, 15.42 g, 11 h), circa 54-65. BAΣΙΛΙΣΣA IΩTAΠH ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟΣ Diademed and draped bust of Iotape to right. Rev. KOMMAΓHNON Scorpion upward; all within laurel wreath. Kovacs 255. RPC I 3853. A lovely example with a beautiful portrait and a fine green patina. Some areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
