Aelius, Caesar, 136-138. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.21 g, 6 h), Rome, 137. L AELIVS CAESAR Bare head of Aelius to right. Rev. [TR POT] COS II / CONCORD Concordia seated to left, holding patera in her right hand and resting her left elbow on cornucopiae. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC 437. RIC II, Part 3, 2625. A beautifully toned example with a very attractive portrait. The reverse struck somewhat off center and with a minor flan fault, otherwise, about extremely fine.
