EGYPT. Uncertain. Gnostic Amulet (Lead, 20 mm, 3.18 g, 12 h), circa 2nd-4th century AD. I-A-ω Abrasax facing, with the head of a rooster and snakes for legs, holding a whip in his right hand and a shield with his left. Rev. ABPA-CAΞ Star in crescent. Cf. Elsen 124 (2015), 404, Leu 3 (2018), 194 and Rauch 8 (2004), 685 (all with different legend placements). Very fine.
