CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.11 g, 12 h), Menephron, magistrate. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ ΜΕΝΕΦΡΩΝ Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; behind, cornucopiae; all within maeander pattern. Thonemann (forthcoming) prov. Group B, 9.b (O10/R22). Extremely rare, the third known example. Nearly very fine.
