IONIA. Phokaia (?). Circa 625/00 BC. 1/48 Stater (Electrum, 6 mm, 0.38 g). Head of a griffin to left. Rev. Rough quadripartite incuse square. BMC 20. Bodenstedt E2. Rare. Very fine.
The attribution of this issue to Phokaia is uncertain, it might have been struck in Teos instead.
