★ A very rare stater from Corinth ★
CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.33 g, 2 h). Ϙ Pegasos flying left. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neckguard, ΕΥ and Zeus standing left, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, thymiaterion. BCD Corinth 81 var. Calciati 192 var. Ravel 713. Very rare and with a lovely reverse. Delaminations on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
