ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 17.06 g, 12 h), 152/1. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE Owl standing facing on Amphora; in fields to left and right, two monograms; to right, two serpents right; on amphora, H; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 80a. An attractive piece with a beautiful head ot Athena. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
