ISLANDS OFF SICILY, Lipara. Circa 289/7-252 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 8.56 g, 9 h). Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. ΛIΠA-PAIΩN Ornamented trident. CNS I 28. HGC 2, 1781. A lovely piece with an attractive turquoise patina. Minor flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
