Description

New Kingdom, c. 1504-1075 B.C. Steatite scarab (15x11mm). Base engraved with a falcon with open wings protecting the cartouche of Tuthmosis III. On the right, a Maat feather. A number of small chips, otherwise intact, pierced for mounting. From the Freemark Collection (1882-1966), Elmore, Ohio.
