Second Intermediate Period, c. 1650-1550 B.C. Steatite scarab (20x14mm). Base decorated with a lion walking left. Some chipping, once glazed, pierced for mounting with part of metal wire still inside the holes. Some light cracks and probably fragile. From an American Collection formed in the 1990’s.
