A Grand Cross breast star, 83 mm, with chiselled and pierced rays; the centre in gold and enamels with excellent chiselwork under the translucent, redenamel; separately-made portrait of the saint in gold, two-colour gold outer circlet; the reverse with maker’s escutcheon of Halley, Paris, round pin and two side hooks.
