A breast star of the order, 91 mm, in Silver, chiselled, flanked by ornated fleurs-de-lys; chiselled gold centre with enameled details of the robe of the Saint; separately-made scroll with the Order’s motto in gold lettering on blue enameled ground; the reverse, with a vertical pin and two side hooks, maker’s mark of Halley Palais Royal, Paris.
