white cross with the Bavarian colours; with a length of original sash ribbon;
the breast star 87 mm, with silver rays and centre medallion with miniature
enameled Christ’s image within blue enameled outer circlet enclosed in
chiselled cold rings; the reverse with double, vertical pin and maker’s escutcheon
of Lemaitre, Paris, together with original awarding document to Gavro von Kovitch.
