The first fascicle of the 1940 volume of the Istituto Italiano di Numismatica’s Studi di Numismatica, notable for including the entirety of Cesano’s catalogue of the Syracuse cabinet. The plates are of unusually high quality. The extremely rare offprint of Cesano’s catalogue sold for $1100 hammer in the first BCD sale.
