Generally fine. Alfred Philippson (born 1864) was an esteemed professor at Halle and Bonn, and the author of a number of important works on geography. This is arguably his masterwork, begun before he survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp from 1942 to 1945. It had only started to be published before his death in 1953.
