Small 4to, later tan quarter morocco with brown sides; spine with two raised bands, lettered in black; brown endpapers; original printed paper covers of first two parts bound in. (4) pages; 1792 double columns; lxii pages; text engravings of coins. Binding lightly rubbed, else fine. Very scarce. Envisioned as a longer work, the three parts bound together in this volume were all that were published. The Dictionnaire was published in parts, though the original printed paper covers bound into this copy are rarely encountered (while the date on the first title page is 1877, the date given on the front paper cover is 1878).
