(4), vi, (2), 99, (1) pages; 4 lithographic plates of coins finely executed by Dardel. Spine rubbed, else fine. A rare 19th-century Greek coin catalogue. A substantial portion (perhaps 800 coins) of the Credit Bank Numismatic Collection derives from the Melatopoulos collection, which focuses on mainland Greece. The plates were produced by Léon Dardel, one of the best 19th-century coin engravers, known especially for his work in numismatic lithography. This is the first copy we have handled since 1988.
