Ménochet. Binding loose, with flyleaves detached. Very good or so. Rare. The author, Prince Pierre of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1866–1934) was also Prince Pedro Augusto of Brazil, where he was born. A tragic figure, he published on numismatics and minerology while a young man, but had a breakdown after the fall of the Brazilian monarchy in 1889 and was institutionalized for the remainder of his life after an 1892 suicide attempt.
