Babelon 204: “The famous Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen left his collections and work to Copenhagen in 1844; in 1847 one of [Peter Oluf] Bröndsted’s students, Ludwig Müller (1809–1891) was given the task of creating the Thorvaldsen Museum. In 1851 [referring to the French edition], Ludwig Müller published a catalogue of the ancient coins in the museum; he went on to resume and then complete Brondsted’s outstanding projects, publishing, in 1855, a numismatic study of Philip, Alexander and Lysimachus.” Leitzmann 94 (listing only the 1851 French edition).
