Fine or nearly so. Number 276 of 300 printed, numbered and initialed by the author. A classic work, the first book-length treatise on the entire series of large cents and half cents. Frossard took the opportunity presented by his January 3, 1879 sale of the George Merritt collection to compile this work, illustrating it with coins from Merritt’s collection as well as from that of Lorin G.
