Ted Naftzger's copy, purchased by him from John W. Adams, according to a note on the cardboard folder in which this copy was stored (and which accompanies this lot). The sale featured excellent large cents, to which the plate is entirely devoted. Ed. Frossard may have had some involvement with this sale. Rated A for large cents by Adams (B+ overall). Davis 898.
