Boston, 1889–1890. 4to, contemporary brown half morocco, gilt; spine ruled and lettered in gilt; red spine label, gilt; original printed paper covers and subscription receipt bound in. iv, 100 pages; 4 plates. Minor scuffs to binding; interiors fine and frequently unopened. A well-preserved copy of this scarcer volume, in a contemporary binding. Articles of note include Walter’s “Medallic Memorials of the Great Comets,” Lyman Low on medals struck on the centennial of the inauguration of Washington, Storer’s ongoing work on medical medals, Marvin’s serial on Masonic medals, Tufnell on Southern India, and various unsigned articles on coins and medals, plus reports on auctions, obituaries, etc. Ex Edmund J. Cleveland (with his subscription receipt signed by Jeremiah Colburn bound in before the rear cover of the fourth issue).
