Substantial Group of M&M Fixed Price Lists

Münzen und Medaillen. LISTEN. Very large group of 396 issues of M&M Basel’s monthly Liste (Basel, 1957–2004). Present are Nos. 165, 168, 174–175, 178–183, 185, 188–190, 195–196, 201, 205, 209, 211–214, 216–218, 220–248, 250–373, 375, 384–385, 391–393, 395–416, 418–482, 484–602, and 605–609. Also included are three similar Sonderlisten (Herbst 1993, 1994 and 1995). Lists 212, 221–229, 234–236, 245, 253, and 255–373 are bound in four volumes [dark blue textured cloth, gilt]; the rest are self-covered, as issued. Some of the earlier lists are a bit musty; very good to fine. A remarkable series of fixed price lists, issued over a half century. They remain particularly useful and important for researching rare and desirable ancient coins, while also featuring innumerable important medieval and modern European coins and medals. This lot includes 395 of the 609 issues published. The early lists are rarely met with, especially the first 75 issues, which were issued in a larger format.
