Gotha/Hildburghausen/Coburg, circa 1910. Leather helmet, complete with all fittings in gilt finish. The helmet eagle with a steep-edged bandeau "Mit Gott für Fürst und Vaterland" (With God for Prince and Fatherland), on the breast with a large silver-plated star with an applied Saxon coat of arms with a laurel wreath on both sides. Flat chinscales on rosettes, both cockades. Inside with brown leather sweatband and light beige silk ribbed lining. Size approx. 55. Slight signs of wear and age.; Condition-II (HW1)
