VASE AVEC COUVERCLE
En albâtre calcifié. À panse biconique et lèvre plate. Le couvercle (non pertinent) quant à lui est pourvu d'une ouverture circulaire à lèvre arrondie. Des types de vases similaires, parfois au profil plus angulaire, sont attestés au tout début de la période dynastique égyptienne.

A Thinite calcificated alabaster cosmetic vase with lid. A globular vase made up of two parts, the lower one is a simple bowlwith a flat circular bottom, while the upper one, with a circular opening with rounded lip, forms the lid of the vessel. Similar types of vases, sometimes with a more angular profile, are attested at the very beginning of the Egyptian dynastic period. Early 3rd millenium B.C.
