24 mm. Struck on Provincial issue of Ascalon, time of Trajan.
Undated issue of Year 3, 134-135 AD.
Obverse: 'Simon', Seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates.
In the left field, dove of Ascalon (inverted).
Reverse: 'For the freedom of Jerusalem', Vine leaf on tendril.
Above the vine leaf traces of Laureate Imperial head.
Good very fine.
