EURYTPERID. Balturypterus tetragonopthalmus, Sea Scorpion. Found at the River Smotrych, Kamianets, Podilsky, Ukraine. The striking example is articulated with the telson spine intact and the right paddle almost complete too. The left paddle is not seen, but may prove to be present when the specimen is prepared further, as it may be still buried in matrix. There are moulted tergites of a larger specimen on the marix too. Matrix is 6 ½ x 4 ¼ inches, and nearly 2 inches thick in spots.
